Outerwear
Plan leather outerwear around material character, panel construction, lining, hardware, fit, finishing, and the details that distinguish the style.
Product directions
Every style is developed from its own brief. These are common directions to help frame the first conversation.
Leather and leather-look materials vary in thickness, grain, drape, surface, and consistency. The selected material must suit the silhouette, panel size, seam construction, and expected use. Color and finish references should be agreed before cutting.
Lining, pocketing, reinforcement, rib, and hardware are equally important. A premium-looking shell can still feel wrong if the zipper, snaps, lining, or internal finishing do not support the intended product position.
Leather jacket patterns require deliberate panel placement, seam allowance, sleeve mobility, collar shape, and pocket construction. The sample should be worn and moved in, not evaluated only by flat measurements.
Brand details can be introduced through panels, topstitching, embroidery, patches, lining color, hardware, labels, and packaging. Any decoration that punctures or stresses the shell should be reviewed for suitability during development.
Because natural materials can show variation, the production brief should define the acceptable character and finish. Hardware color, zipper type, snap placement, lining, and label construction also need sample approval before bulk work begins.
KNAPMOD starts at 50 pieces. A standard 50-piece approved order typically has a 14-day production target, but leather style complexity, material sourcing, and larger quantities require a confirmed project schedule. Shipping depends on destination.
Yes. The team needs the target silhouette, material direction, measurements, construction, hardware, branding, and quantities to review the project.
Lining, zippers, snaps, pullers, labels, and other components can be specified, subject to sourcing and quantity requirements.
Natural material can show variation. The approved brief should define the intended grain, finish, color range, and acceptable character.
