Product directions
Every style is developed from its own brief. These are common directions to help frame the first conversation.
Hoodies can feel completely different even when the artwork is identical. Body width, shoulder drop, sleeve volume, hood shape, pocket construction, rib tension, and finished length determine whether the result feels classic, athletic, oversized, or premium streetwear.
The base fabric should be chosen with that silhouette in mind. French terry can provide a looped interior and versatile weight, while brushed fleece creates a warmer hand feel. The main fabric and rib need compatible stretch and recovery so cuffs and hems keep their intended shape.
A product brief can specify pullover or zip construction, single or double-layer hoods, drawcord type, eyelets, zipper finish, pocket shape, topstitching, and panel lines. These details should be settled in the sample rather than improvised during bulk sewing.
Decoration may include embroidery, screen printing, heat transfer, puff effects, patches, or a combination selected for the artwork and fabric. Label systems and packaging can then carry the same brand identity through the finished presentation.
The approved sample should establish measurements, fabric, color, stitching, decoration size, placement, trims, and packing instructions. For zip styles, zipper length and tape color also need to be controlled. For coordinated sets, the top and bottom should be reviewed together for shade and proportion.
KNAPMOD accepts projects from 50 pieces. Production for the 50-piece minimum is typically 14 days once approvals and materials are ready. Larger programs require a quantity-based lead-time review, and shipping is quoted according to the destination.
