Information you share

The form asks for your name, email address, garment type, estimated quantity, and permission to contact you about the enquiry. You can also provide a company name, project notes, and PDF, JPG, or PNG references.

How the enquiry works

The site checks the submitted details and attachments before sending an enquiry to Knapmod Mfg’s business inbox when email delivery is configured. The website does not save enquiries in a separate application database. Copies may remain in email systems used to send and receive the message.

How long we keep enquiry information

Our standard retention period for an inactive enquiry that does not become an order is 12 months after the last meaningful contact about that project. This covers enquiry emails, project notes and attachments. We review these records monthly and delete information sooner when it is no longer needed.

For active projects and orders, we keep the information needed to prepare samples, manufacture and deliver the order, and provide agreed follow-up support. After that work ends, we review the records and remove unnecessary messages and attachments. A possible future order alone is not a reason to keep everything indefinitely.

We may retain limited records for longer where needed to meet applicable accounting or legal obligations, resolve a complaint, or establish, exercise or defend legal claims. Any exception is limited to the relevant information and reviewed for continued need. This does not mean that every enquiry attachment must be retained with an invoice.

You can request earlier deletion at info@knapmod.com. We may ask for proportionate information to confirm that the request is yours, and will explain if a necessary record cannot yet be deleted. Deletion includes copies under our control, not only the website. Backup deletion depends on the relevant system’s capabilities and retention cycle; information awaiting removal must be kept out of ordinary use, and a restoration must not undo a completed deletion request.

Delivery diagnostics

To investigate delivery problems, the application records a randomly generated enquiry reference, a technical message identifier, the time, delivery status, attachment count and limited error codes in hosting logs. These application delivery logs do not include your name, email address, project notes, filenames or attachment contents.

Other contact options

The WhatsApp link opens a separate service. If you choose to contact us there, that service handles your message under its own terms and privacy practices.

Enquiry invitation preference

A small sample-planning invitation may appear after you explore the site on a desktop. The site uses this tab’s session storage to remember that the invitation has been shown or dismissed, so it does not keep interrupting you. This preference contains no contact details or project information and is not sent to an analytics service.

Your cookie choices

Optional analytics and advertising start disabled. You can reject both, accept both, or choose each purpose separately. The form works regardless of that choice. We store your selection, the notice version and its date in your browser for up to 180 days using the key knapmod-consent-v1. Clearing browser storage or changing the notice version may cause us to ask again.

You can withdraw permission below. Withdrawing an existing permission refreshes the page to stop loaded tracking tools; unsent form details will be cleared. A supported Global Privacy Control signal keeps advertising disabled.

Optional measurement and advertising

When configured and with your permission, Google Tag Manager loads Google Analytics to measure page visits and actions such as accepted enquiry submissions, contact-link clicks and selected buttons. Advertising permission allows configured Google Ads measurement and personalised advertising. Refusing optional tracking means these visits and actions may not appear in our reports.

Our custom tracking events do not contain your name, email address, phone number, enquiry reference, project notes, attachment names or attachment contents. They use page paths and fixed action labels. Providers may process device, browser and network information, including IP addresses, under their own policies. Google describes its use of data in its business privacy information. We do not send enquiry details for enhanced conversions.

Tracking providers can process data outside your country. Optional tools must respect the selected purposes. Cookie settings removes known first-party measurement cookies when permission is withdrawn; it cannot erase data already received by providers or delete cookies belonging to another domain.

Form security

When enabled, Cloudflare Turnstile checks whether an enquiry appears to come from a genuine visitor. This security service is separate from optional analytics and advertising. It may process browser, device and network signals. We validate its short-lived token before sending the enquiry, and do not pass form answers or attachments to the verification service.
