Decisions for your first sample
Check the cut against cloth width
A wide leg and a fixed edge position can affect pattern layout. Submit the largest size as well as the base size so the fabric yield can be reviewed before quoting.
Separate raw from rinsed measurements
State whether the size chart refers to the jean as delivered or after the first wash. Record intended cuff depth rather than adding unexplained extra inseam length.
What to check on arrival
Turn the hem to the agreed depth. Follow the side seam from hip to cuff for twist, then compare inseam and waist after the specified care cycle against the agreed measurement stage.
