Decisions for your first sample
Choose the knit by feel
Tell us whether you want a fine, compact knit or a chunky rib. If you have a reference yarn or a physical swatch, include it: a photograph conveys the colour but not how firmly the cuff grips.
Position the label on the fold
Mark which edge of the patch faces the crown when the cuff is turned up. A small side tab can be a better choice than a rigid front patch when the design relies on the knit stretching freely.
What to check on arrival
Try the sample on, fold it to the intended depth and remove it again. Check whether the cuff recovers, the crown sits flat or slouches as planned, and the label reads upright. Approve the worn view as well as the flat measurements.
