Decisions for your first sample
01
Choose how the coat closes
On a double-breasted chef coat the overlap affects both the fit and where a name can sit. Mark the button rows on a front drawing. For a concealed snap front, tell us whether the kitchen wants visible topstitching or a clean placket.
02
Dress the team for its shift
A pastry team may want a sleeve pocket for a pen; another kitchen may prefer a plain short sleeve. Give the pocket opening and depth, and say whether cuffs are worn turned back. Take a reach measurement over the shirt worn underneath.
03
Separate the uniform from the name list
Approve one restaurant logo by size and position, then supply individual names in a separate roster with sizes and spelling. Identify unnamed spare coats for new starters so the embroidery order matches the staffing plan.
What to check on arrival
Have a team member reach across a counter and lift both arms in the sample. Check the overlap stays closed and the cuffs clear the hands. Put it through the laundry cycle the restaurant actually uses, then compare fit, shade and embroidery with the unwashed reference.
Translate a uniform programme into role-specific garments, movement requirements, laundering plans, branding controls, safety evidence, and replenishment specifications.
Tell us the restaurant locations, coat colour, quantity by size and whether you need names as well as logos. Include a photo of any existing uniform that the new jackets must match.
