Decisions for your first sample
Build an inconspicuous waist
Specify elastic depth, soft facing and where the drawcord exits. Show whether the wearer should feel a knot at the centre front or tie the cord on the outside.
Choose a practical leg finish
An open straight leg pools differently from a cuff. Give the finished inseam with the footwear assumption and decide whether short and tall lengths are stocked separately.
What to check on arrival
Sit cross-legged, lie down and stand again in the sample. Check waistband twist, pocket bags folding under the hip and the leg dragging on the ground. Recheck length after washing.
