Align the side panel
Give the stripe width at the waist and hem and show where a vent interrupts it. If the short matches a jersey, approve the two side details worn together.
Choose a game or practice pocket
Decide whether the game short needs a clean side seam while the practice version carries pockets. Mark the difference on each style so a single pattern is not assumed for both.
What to check on arrival
Slide sideways, squat and sit in the sample. Check that the crest remains visible and the hem does not catch above the knee. Turn a reversible short and inspect both vent finishes.
