Decisions for your first sample

01

Build the pouch in profile

Send side and front references and state whether the fly is functional or closed. A seam change at the pouch can alter usable room without changing the flat hip measurement.

02

Set leg length and grip

Specify the inseam alongside the relaxed opening and stretch requirement. Longer legs can still ride up if the opening is too tight for the intended thigh.

03

Review the elastic inside

Provide artwork at the repeat width for a branded waistband. Decide where the join sits and whether any label or exposed edge touches the skin at that point.

What to check on arrival

Walk, sit and move from one to the other several times. Check leg roll, seam contact and waistband recovery. Repeat after washing and record the result by sample size.

What to include in your quote request

Send size measurements, pouch diagram, leg length, fly option, elastic width and pack configuration. Specify the total units per colour rather than only the number of packs.
