Decisions for your first sample
Define the fly and waistband
Mark the fly opening and overlap at rest. Choose covered or exposed elastic and specify whether a button is part of the design; each choice changes the inside finish.
Balance checks and stripes
For patterned cloth, mark which seams must match and whether the waistband uses the same stripe direction. Group packs by print combination and actual units rather than a general colour mix.
What to check on arrival
Sit and take a long step in the sample. Check fly coverage, elastic fold-over and any pull across the seat. Follow the inside seams with a hand to find bulky joins.
