Decisions for your first sample

01

Set the drop from a fixed point

Measure vertically from the high shoulder point to the V, then give the neck width. A deep narrow V and a shallow wide neckline use very different front patterns.

02

Draw the centre point

Choose a mitred rib join or an overlapping finish and show the intended visible rib width. Ask for the point on the actual jersey so the sample reveals puckering or twisting.

03

Check grading separately

A neck drop that looks modest on a medium can feel deep on an extra small. Include the smallest and largest sizes in the neckline approval rather than scaling the V with chest width alone.

What to check on arrival

Wear the tee alone or under the shirt it should accompany. Lean forward, wash it and look again at the centre point. Note any gaping at the back neck as well as the front.

What to include in your quote request

Send base-size neck measurements, rib preference, body fit, fabric weight and intended layering. State whether all colours use self rib or a contrast binding.

Share the fit, fabric weight if known, neckline and artwork placement. Add a reference, quantities by colour and size, and delivery country.
